General Care Discussion :: Should I keep Scooter by himself?

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Since Flip passed away yesterday, would it be better for Scooter to stay by himself? He is about 3" and in a 55 gallon tank. He seems content and from what I've read, it seems like I might avoid future problems by keeping a single turtle.

thanks,
Julie

Yes, he will be fine by himself. After all, turtles are solitary animals.

Concentrate on giving Scooter the best care you can. He'll thank you for it (silently, of course). :)
