I'm wondering what will that cause, I heard my turtle's belly will turn orange if he eats alot, is that a bad thing?

Well, your turtle needs a balanced diet to be healthy. Feeding that many carrots to make the belly turn orange would mean your either feeding him too many carrots and not enough other foods, or you're overfeeding.

I was told that carrots shouldn't be a staple because they have a lot of sugar in them. The orange belly in itself isn't a problem. For a while they were the only veggie my turtle would eat so i was giving them almost everyday untill i found that out. Luckily he started eating greens finally after i cut him off from the carrots for a while. Just make sure you give him a varied diet with greens (good quality lettuce, dandelion greens, aquatic plants) as the main course.

With a balanced diet of greens and other veggies
It wont turn orange unlesss you overfeed

Ahh thanks. Its not that I wanted to overfeed him, was just wondering what it will do, he's eating greens and pellets, and I bought him a special treat also that I give him sometimes..
And also the guppies lately.... =0
