General Care Discussion :: It's been a long time

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

It's been a while since I have been on here. I just wanted to let everyone to know that all of my turtles are doing well. Our little dawrf one though was bit over the weekend by one of his tank mates. So he is missing the little tip of his tail and two of his back scutes are bitten in half, so I am treating the bite but he seems fine he is eating and swimming. Other then that everything is great. He isn't going to get to go back in that tank again.

yeah we never had a problem before if you look at some of my old post and old pictures I have one turtle Columbus that is smaller then my other res that I bought at the same time. He's ben to the Vet and we aren't sure why is isn't growing. Our Herp vet is one of the best in the business, he is listed in Reptile Magizine.

Glad to hear that everyone is doing well! Has the little guy grown at all? If you get a chance, put up some pictures of the DBT. They're such gorgeous turtles.

Did the vet check the little one for parasites? That's a common cause for little or no growth. Or maybe it's just genetics.
