Ok, I have not seen my turtle poop or ever see it in the tank. I have had him for about 2 -3weeks now. I suppose it could get sucked up into the filter before I see it, but I never see it or anything. I am usually gone to school from 8AM-3pm. and then not watching him all the time when Im home...but I thought maybe at least I would catch him in the act or something :?:

sorry if this has already been posted.
thanks!

Some turtles do eat their poop. I have seen my turts do this many times.

Is he eating? If he's eating, he's either pooping or he's constipated. Has he been kicking at his rear end with his back feet a lot? That's what they do when they're constipated.

Most likely he's been eating it. Sometimes turtles do that. Mine used to when he was young but he seems to have outgrown it (thank goodness!).

Christ-nett – Aside from them eating it, sometimes it may be loose and not come out hard. If he is eating well, he is pooping unless he is constipated. If you go to pellets for a short while, it may come out harder. I would not worry about it unless he is stopped up.

Thank you!

He has been eating perfectly fine, and not kicking at his back end like described.

I bet he is eating the poo.
