Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Hello. I currently have a 75 gallon tank with two turtles in it. I had 17 gold fish in it. Now it's down to 14. Recently I have discovered tiny white dots on the fish's body, which later I researched that they are parasites and is known as the Ich disease. http://www.kokosgoldfish.com/Ich.html

Two of the fish had disappeared and I assumed that they died of the Ich disease and my turtles ate them. (they usually are too lazy to chase the fish and prefer to eat dead fish.. ) Does anyone know if Ich will affect my turtles? So far I have found only one source that says Ich does not harm turtles, but I just want to make sure that is true.

I asked this same question about a month ago and everyone pretty much said no. Good luck with the ick problem, my poor Pleco couldn't fight it off even with the meds :(
