Hi everyone, its been a while since ive been on here. i was wondering if its safe to feed fish to a turtle, and if so what kind should i get?

yes it is ok; u can get rosy red minnows

how big is your turtle and what kind?

Some Fish
& Some Snails

my turtle is about 4 1/2 inches long and its a peninsula cooter

Do not feed you turtle feeder goldfish, they are not healthy because they have to much fat. Stick to feeder rosy reds, I'd personally start out with 3-4 and observe his reaction. Some turtles will go crazy and eat the fish and others will ignore them.

Feeder fish should be fed only as an occasional treat, they are too rich to be a stple in the diet.
