Yeah. Mine went from VERY bright green to a greenish brown.

They will start to go from a vibrant green to green brown to often completely brown over their lives.

Usually they do. Sometimes, very rarely, a turtle will have a green shell for it's entire life.

The adult turtle my class keeps still has her green baby shell colour.
