This is my turtle Leonardo i think he is about a year old. Tell me what u think!

Leonardo is a cutie! He looks pretty good, other than it looks like he could do to shed some scutes.

One recommendation for his tank though: You should take the gravel out. Your turtle can and will eat it. It can get lodged in his digestive track (called "impaction") and it is often fatal. Most people on the forum go for large river rocks (the must be larger than his head)

what do u mean shed some scutes? how can i make this occur

Scutes are the "scales" on the shell. Just make sure you're giving him a good diet and a proper basking area and they'll come off when they're ready. If you haven't already, read over the nutrition section of the main site.

Do you have a UVB and heat light? And is the basking temp around 90 F? That will help with shedding.

yea i usually just put 2 in there a week but i everyonce and awhile i hand feed him
