I was wondering how big or old should the hatchling be when you put them with adult turtles

From what Iv read, I don't think you should put a baby turtle in with a big turtle as it is likely your little turtle could get killed. Are we talking a tank or huge pond?

Edited: I realize I didn't actually answer the question.

They should be about the same size, and there should be enough space for all the turts in the enclosure you are using (10 gallons per 1 inch of shell)

I'm afraid a hatchling can't be put with an adult or it will be killed. In fact, any time there's a significant size different it's dangerous to mix two turtles. Even when turtles are the same size, they often get to fighting and have to be separated before one gets killed.

Well I have two turtles 4 and 5 inches in a 120 gallon, but i going to put them in a pond probly 12 feet by 8 about 3.5 feet at the deepest part it has 6 turtles about 4.5 inches 6 the biggest im going to make it larger when i get the funds around November and if your wondering the eggs should hatch this week. I have a 65 gallon for now
