Hello im dominic and yesterday i cleaned my tank and re did it all and
then this idea came to me what if i took my old misting fountain thing and used it in my tank????? well today i found out how to get it to work and that my turtle wouldn't get hurt and overall AWESOME if u want to see it or think its unsafe please let me know :)

I think I've heard of someone using one of these in their tank before.
Also, I've seen them for tropical terrariums for lizards that need a high moisture.

Hopefully someone can say for sure or not if it's OK for turtles.

I suppose it all depends on how you've got it set up. You shouldn't have it misting the basking area, they need to get nice and dry while they bask. I can't really see a need for a mister in a turtle tank, other than for looks.

its not near it its far away from the basking area but i only keep it on for a bit just cause like i said i dont know but ill get pics and show

If you have a mister in your tank, that makes me think your water level is pretty low... low enough that you can mist and not worry about it going all over the room.

I think a picture is in order so we can see it, and possibley critique your setup.

no my water level is just an inch over my turtle size (6inches) i have it set up on a rock just below it so it mists an the reason y i have it set up is because it acts as fog and it makes the turtles habitat more like home.You do know that its foggy at times right??

TAKE OUT THE ROCKS! your turtle will eat them and it will clog her system!
