How long can a baby RES turtle be out of water for and how long can it not eat for?

I would make sure no longer than a day without eating and no more than a couple of hours out of water. Though that depends on the age and what's going on...

Try this page http://redearslider.com/entice_eating.html

I would try to get them to eat ASAP.

The one that is separated, he's out of water?

Make sure he doesn't get chilled in that little container. Can you get something bigger?

Since he's ill, he needs to be kept warm.

koo-too -- I would suggest that you get the water to a constant temp of about 78 to 79 degrees. They do better in warmer temps. Dip some turtle pellets in tuna juice to get them to eat. Good Luck!! m.
