Leo, he is getting some layer out of his skin like the layer which is removed of an onion before use.
Is it normal?
Its been a month since i've bought him. Just been worried about it. Please help me out...

Yes turtles shed just like any other reptile.

does shedding occur even to the ones who are less than an year old?

Yes. Shedding occurs as they grow, and in their first year they grow quite a lot!
Excessive shedding can be caused by too high water temperatures or poor water quality though. What is your water temp?

ok, the water temperature is around 26 degree centigrade.
How much water temperature do you people maintain??

Neo-one -- If that is between 75 and 78 degrees that is good. Clean water and 5x water exchange rate is good for your turtle.
