My female climbs up the basking platform at night when shes suppose to be sleeping! there isnt any lights at all. The water temp is 82F. I cant control it as i dun even have a heater. Is there something wrong with her?

Are you sure she doesnt have eggs, if she is being that restless. She might be holding eggs and wants to escape that badly to find a nesting area

Im not sure if she have eggs. But anyway i made a nesting box for her and she usually just sits on the log in her nesting box and bask. I use peat moss and garden soil for substrate btw. And no strange behaviour.

Egg behaviour is trying to escape out of the tank, digging at the bottom of the tank desperately (or anywhere else), digging with its hind legs, doing a motion with its back legs of constantly trying to push out its tail ( as best as I can describe it)

Try feeling her for eggs, there are videos on youtube which I found helpful

I cant really feel them. They are not very obvious. I felt two bumps the size of a finger though.

Mine goes though phases of climbing on her island even when lights are off. It seems to be normal behaviour.

Do you have a good place for her to rest underwater, but near the surface? She may just find it easier to breathe on the dock.
