Hi, Im new to the breeding of RES, we were given a breeding pair in dec 09 and she has had two ( plus another today, which she ate all of!!) clutches already. We have one clutch which is nearly due to hatch. I realise the success rate of hatching them is not very high, But does anyone know what the eggs should look like before they hatch?? some have dark areas to them which almost look like the marking on the shell, but im 50/50 on wether its a hatchling or an egg gone bad?? if anyone has hatched them before and can give some information , i'd greatly appreciate it.
