Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Does anybody have any experience injecting their turtle with antibiotics? My turtle is about 2 inches across the shell and the needle is about 2 inches long. Is there a best place to put the needle? My vet said just in the back of his leg, but it's a bit hard to do. Any suggestions would be great.

Front leg in the muscle. I've given injection antibiotics to many turtles. They have very tough skin but the needle goes in fine.
