I would really like a baby RES. If anyone has one that needs a good home or if you know a reliable place to get one, please let me know. This is very important to me. Thanks

Its usually a good idea not to post about the same thing in several threads, you mite make a moderator angry.

ALot of sites do not sell baby Red Ear Sliders because they can give you diseases. So unless you find someone that will send you one or you find someone selling them in china town, you prob will have a hard time finding them on the net.

Try www.craigslist.com and post that you want a baby RES and you mite find one for sale.

It's pretty hard finding a RES under 4 inches in the US since most states have the 4 inch rule and it's not legal to own one. There are online sites that sell them but you're taking a huge risk with that since there's a big chance you'll get an ill turtle.

I agree with the above posts. It's going to be hard to find one unless you just happen upon one at a flea market, or someone re-homing one. I got Squirt off Craigslist after his previous owner was re-homing him.

Why is it so important that you get a baby? If you want a red eared slider because you love that specific type of turtle, then just get a 4 inch one from a store or reputable reptile rescue. Babies are cute, but do eventually grow into the same adults you see in stores.
