Like the title says it. My turtles are still hatchlings, reaching from 2-2.5 inches but when should my turtles start shedding?
1 Mississippi Map Turtle 3.25'' (Landslide)
1 Ouachita Map Turtle 4.0'' (Hurricane)
The rest of the turtles have been adopted to good homes. :)

My little one is a little over 3 inches and he only shed one scute so far, one of the marginal ones.

You should see it happen soon. Mine first shed around 2.5-3inches

Alright thanks but it's also normal that my hatchling is 2-2.5 inches when they're about to become yearlings in 4 months right?
