General Care Discussion :: new filter

I just got a new aqua tech 20-40 sized filter. I read on the instructions to let the pump run 24 hours before putting "fish" in to the tank. My question is do I need to isolate my turtle from the tank for 24 hours or will he be alright? I already have him in his tub I keep him in when i change his water just to be safe but he hates it in there so i dont want to keep him in there longer then I have too.

hes should be fin turtles dont breath the water so itle prob be alright

I'm pretty sure it doesn't affect turtles. I only wait until the bubbles stop coming out of the filter.
