dear all -
we found a baby res near a lake in memphis, and have set up an indoor habitat. we've had him for 4 days.
he's eating and appears to be doing okay, but after doing some homework, we think that the best thing for him might be to return to his lake.
questions:
1) how long can we keep him before we return him? would another week be okay? the kids love him but we've explained that he probably should go home.
2) there is a lake (not the one where we found him) that the kids want to take him to, as that's a place we go often. it's a quiet lake tho we think there are other RES' there. is it safe to take him to that lake? does it matter which one?
