Well Jabba is always swimming over to see me of course cause i feed her. But when I take her out of her tank to roam she sits for a little bit then I give her my finger and she nibbles it she does this when I feed her. But then she sprints off and runs around, only problem there is I have a dog and theres dogs hair all over my room where i keep her so she gets all hairy lol.

but how else can I play with her

Take her outside and keep a close eye on her while she explores

You can clean your room 1st before getting her out.

There's also the option of laying down a blanket or towels. Be careful of the nibbling. One day it can turn into a very painful bite.

How can you tell if they are happy to be out and about or if they hate it? I mean I know 1 of my turtles hates being out when I clean the tank cause it tries to hide underneath the towel, while the other tries to run around. I'm not sure if it's because the other is nervous/scared or if they are happy and being adventurous.

Honestly I have no idea. Except mine don't really "look" scared when out. Unless they're moving super speedily away from me. D:

Anyway, it will take some getting used to for them. My RES used to just sit there and then after a bit started exploring. I would use my hands to guide him and eventually he would follow me around. ^_^ ~ <3

Mine will lift their body when I come near the tank...and that means they want out. Kroten will follow me everywhere, she doesn't wanna be in a room where I am not in it. Kame will explore the house.
