General Care Discussion :: NEED HELP

ok so recently i had put up a pond for my res and i had put my 3 res in it and i left to go get some chicken wire to fence it off from my dogs and so if they escape they wont go anywhere so i had left the pond not full so they wouldnt escape while i was gone....but it started to thunder and rain hard by the time i came back the pond was almost flooded i went outside and only found my littlest res that was hiding under his basking dock cause he was scared but i couldnt find my larger ones its been about 8 hours since this has happen ive looked in my front yard my neighbors also let me look in there front and back yards and nothing my back yard i couldnt find them either im thinking that since we have a shed they went and hid UNDER or NEXT to it but its to dark for me to see in there even with a light do you think theres something i can put to get them to come out or even where about they'll be. Where i live there are no predators that will eat the res no animals except a dog but there all in a house no loose dogs we only have those common black birds so what do yall think i should do and srry about there not being alot of periods in this lol im in a rush and not worried about my grammar right now

Try leaving some food in the pond and an opening for them to get to the pond. Turtles are likely to go to the nearest water source.

ok i left some salmon in a small bowl for them to eat bye ive been looking out like evry 20mins or so still no sign of them

no i have not found them yet there are some signs that there around im still looking hasn't been that long and i read that they will be ok for a week or even longer in good conditions ill post if i find one

YAY i found one of my turtles the younger one he was hiding under the shed like i thought he came out to eat the salmon i left and then i saw my dog run to that side of the house and growl at it and i walked over there and it was trying to go under it again but got stuck so now im only missing one res and btw yes i looked for damage to him he looks fine his shell is ok and going out and in from under the shed helped him shed some chutes so yay i put him in the tank and now hes ok hes basking and eating normaly

Great to hear. Just keep looking for the other one and make sure there is access to water.

If it's dry where you are, you might hose down the yard/area where you think he is. The moisture might help draw him out. If it's hot where you are, you'd be more apt to find him moving in the early morning or late afternoon.
