Hello all, my female RES is showing her mating ritual to a plastic log at the bottom of her tank. does this mean she could be depressed? lonely? what should i do? thanks all!

It sounds like she's just showing the log who's boss. Most likely just territorial, if your referring to the front claw "fluttering".

yeah thats what shes doing, thank you. Do you think i should remove the log? or does it not matter to her that much?

You can just leave it, though she probably wouldn't care if you removed it either.
