General Care Discussion :: Open Cloaca? (Butthole)

I'm not sure if this should be of concern,
but seeing the reflection of my turtle's aquarium, I see his/her cloaca open sometimes, sometimes closed.
I notice this often enough - Is this something serious like he wants to poo but can't cuz nothing's coming out? Or peeing a lot?

Am I just watching my turtle a little too much?

I believe it's normal. My turtles do that too sometimes. I'm not sure why though.
