i have 2 Res babys shells about 1.5 inches long

i want to add some plants to their tank which is only 10 gallons, i know it is not the best, but i will be getting a new one soon after i graduate. What kind of plants can i use that look nice and are edible for the turtles.

another question...for turtles this size, what is the deepest that i can make their water

you can use almost any aquatic plant really. odds r they will get destroyed in a matter of days tho. there is a list on the main site. also the water can be pretty deep. idk that there is a maxium depth for a turtle but the deeper u can make it the better. but also for a turtle tank if you get a tank and u have the option of getting a "tall" or "long" tank you would want to go witht eh long tank.

my turtles prefer the anarchis and the sagitaris plants the most but will eat just about anything. my advice is to get a second tank and plant everything you want then use the cuttings from that tank in your turtle tank. you have pretty plants in one and edibles in the other. that's how i do mine.
