i was gone for a month over christmas and left my turtle in the good care of a friend. I just noticed today that my turtle has a strange wart like & wart sized lump on his tail - sort of pinkish in color. He doesn't seem to be in any sort of pain, but I was just a little concerned and wondered if you knew what this was? While i was gone, my friend attempted to clean his tank...but it still became much dirtier than i have ever allowed it to get...so maybe bacteria or dirt could have made this thing appear.
