Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Hello,

I am in need of some suggestion on how to apply iodine on to my turtle. I have heard that Cotton Balls, Q-Tips and or a Soft Face Cloth all work but I want to know what one is better or if you use something completely different then mentioned.
And once I do apply it on the turtle do I rub it in or just let it sit on the shell and absorb in on it's own.
I would like to know what you have used to apply Iodine on to your turtle or turtles, and would you recommend it to other users to use on their turtle or turtles. Your suggestions would be a great help to me thank you very much.

Betadine (Provodone iodine) is sometimes used for turtles, not just iodine. It is diluted to a "weak tea" appearance. What type of injury/infection do you want to treat?
