Has anyone ever put together an adult slider with a baby slider (not its own)? My friend has a little RES he does not want anymore and I have an adult female slider.

I am not sure if it is recommended but I was given two RES as a gift. The one is now 3 1/2 inches and the other is 1 1/4 inches. They seem to get along fine and funny enough the small one bullies the larger one.

Absolutely do not under any circumstance mix sliders of different sizes. This is very dangerous. There have been posts on here about the larger slider hurting and killing the baby one. I would set up two separate areas for them.

A set-up for each turtle would be the thing to do, at least until the smaller one grows to a size comparable to the larger one.

Oh ok. I was just wondering. I don't think I will take the other one. If I did, I would have to set it up in a fish tank. Thanks for the insight.
