Good luck keeping any live plants in a turtle tank! All my attempts were uprooted, shredded or eaten within the hour.

I got a little more than an hour (not much more), but same end result on multiple attempts.

Mine refuses to eat plants of any kind, so I'm stuck with a pile of anacharis in a bowl full of water for the time being. Although today, he did tear one piece into 3 small pieces, but he still won't eat it. I think he wanted me to think he may have eaten some of it so I wouldn't force feed him more squash tonight! :-D I'd say plan on any plantlife you add to the tank being purely temporary though. I don't think my turtle is normal.

Have you tried anything else besides anacharis? I don't think it's a hit in my tanks either.

How old is your turtle? Mine didn't have an interest in veggies until they were older

I guess I'm lucky. Moe has always liked veggies and plants.
