I have this red eared slider but doesnt have the red on the side of her head they said it was a birth defect or shes just special. What do you guys think it could be?

i cant see the picture but it could be a different species of turtle

A larger picture would help. Pictures close up of the head extended and the top and bottom shells would be appreciated to make a proper ID of your turtle.
