I have two RES, a male and female, that I picked up in the middle of July. The male is having a problem with his neck. He can't seem to stretch it like the female ca, it looks like his neck is too almost big for him to get out of his shell, almost like it is swollen. He did get bit a few weeks ago but I treated it and it completely healed. The problem with his neck has been going for a while now so I do not think the bite had much to do with it. He swims normally, eats, and even climbs to get onto the basking all without problem and he doesn't seem to be in any pain. His neck is shedding heavily though.. If that is correlated to not being able to stick out his neck I'm not sure.. Does it sound like an infection or sickness? or has anyone else experienced this? I will be trying to upload a pic when I can get a good one of his neck later today.

If he was bit before, he'll probably be bit again and the injury is having a hard time healing.
