General Care Discussion :: My RES doesnt seem to like being in water, ever?

Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

She is the oddest of my two turtles, she stays on land on her dock all the time until its feeding time then thats the only time she goes in the water. Her shell is nearly white from being dried, and she is always itching herself with her arm. I know this isnt probably normal but im wondering what it could be? or if any one else has a turtle that does this and if they do anything to help. She always has very loose arms and sometimes she sleeps upward with her head laying to the side and sometimes i tap her so she remembers to stick it in so she wont get a neck ache. My other turtle doesnt seem to be affected by her, she has normal behavior, loves to swim and eat and enjoys her sun when its warm.

Thanks

Can you post pictures of her dry shell? Are there any other visible symptoms? How big is she? And the other? How long have you had them? How much water is in their tank? What are the water temperatures and the basking temperatures. Please try to provide the most accurate reading you can.
