Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Post Posted: Fri Mar 16, 2012 11:45 am   Losing shell scales

I have only had my turtles about 3 months, they are about 4 years old now and have been in a 20 gallon there whole life so they have some stunted growth from it only being about 3inch. Last night I noticed my res lost a scale off his shell, I checked him out but couldn't find where it came from... This morning there is 4 more at the bottom of the tank, he is growing I can see his growth on the rear edge of his shell so is this just new growth? Thanks for the help

Ya, they're just shedding, but a pic would make certain.
