Been another long while since my last post. It's comforting to know that if I ever have a concern I can go to people like Steve in an instant.
My RES turtle is basking right now and he has been twitching his front right leg and his head together in a circular motion where they meet around the forearm. He has stopped now but I am still concerned. the left leg also does that same thing but far less than the right.
did a search and it could be 2 things.
radiation from the UVB light is bothering my turtle because the lamp could be getting old. i've bought it within 4 months ago but i dont know the exact time. probably more within 3.
or it could be pieces of skin that are stuck and he is itching. my turtle IS currently shedding right now.
