My turtle has white, flakey shedding from his skin quite frequently (which a Herp vet has told me is normal) but this is the first time that scutes have come off.

What is the basking temperature? 85-90 degrees
Is there a basking light? yes
Is there a basking platform that is easy to climb on? yes
What kind is it or what is it made out of? I made it myself, its made of plastic and he can easily get up and down.
Is there a UVB light? yes.
What have you been trying to feed it? reptomin sticks are the staple. freeze dried shrimp are and occasional snack. recently been trying to introduce dandelion greens.
