Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Hi there- it's been quite awhile since I've posted. Mello is still just 5 inches long, if not 5.5 inches.

I've been recently pondering whether or not it's okay to move her to my existing outdoor pond... pondering, because it's literally a waterfall during the late afternoon and night. It's about 90 gallons, 2 feet deep, and is a quiet pond for most of the day... until the waterfall turns on at 5pm until 10pm. The waterfall is quite turbulent and makes a lot of spashing (water drops down from a 5 foot tall ledge), which would make any basking area useless during those hours. I'm thinking of stacking a pile of bricks above water level with a ramp leading up to it for basking. There are currently two 6 inch koi living in there.

Is this area suitable for my RED to live in? Would she be a danger to the koi? Feel free to bring up any other issues, if there are...
Colors of home:

[b]Roscoe the female Australian Shepherd,
Lancer the male Australian Shepherd,
Teddy the pekingese,
Mello the Red eared slider,
50 gallon freshwater aquascape with guppies,
90 gallon outdoor waterfall,
10 gallon guppy fry tank

I think the pond might be too small. The turtle and koi should be fine together.
