The picture is pretty blurry to make out anything. Can you upload some more, with the shell dry?

Are you sure thats a map turtle? Looks like a diamondback terrapin to me. Also the clear whitish lines going around the scutes is just growth lines which is normal. Try to get a better pic if you can too.
