My turtle is 6 years old. She laid eggs last year at the end of april/ beginning of may. This year she hasn't laid any. Is this normal? Last year she showed signs, like frantically swimming at the side of the tank. I could also feel her eggs, i have been checking but haven't felt any
Im actually a boy, Never changed SN's from my ex. Since I ended up with the Turtle.
Turtles: Dexter (RES) Shelby (RES - gone and I feel really really bad). Miracle (Box Turtle - Given to me after Shelby left us). Orion (Mississippi Map Turtle).
Yes it can be normal. Turtles don't have to lay every year especially if no male is around or something trigged her into thinking it was egg laying time and this year that didn't happen.
