The title says it all, is it normal? Because my turtle does that but is still quite healthy! And DO I HAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE to install a halogen lamp for turtle to bask, i already have it but it's just that we don't have a screen with holes it it, so therefore we can't place it on top, do we have to? i have a UVB bulb and a submerged heater and the temperature so i don't think we HAVE to install one! :!:

(it basks by the UVB bulb)

They sometimes sleep a little but are generally alert. What kind of lighting setup do you have now?

If you mean a heat lamp, I think it's fine, as long as your turtle basks. However, how are you using your UVB lamp but you can't use your heat lamp?
