Can't see the name of the site that you are mentioning. The fact that the name has been removed is a good sign that it isn't a reputable dealer.

Can I ask in the most respectful way possible why you would be looking to buy a new turtle when you can't get medical treatment for the turtle you already own?

And I agree that if the website name has been removed by the moderators that the website is not a good place. Most online websites that sell turtles keep them in inhumane conditions before selling them, and don't have any respect for the health or well-being of the turtles. Also I'm not positive on this, but I think there may be an increased chance of illness when turtles are shipped. And seeing as how you can't manage (or your boyfriend/ fiance can't seem to let you) to get your already sick turtle to the vets, I'd assume that if this new turtle gets sick he'd find himself in the same unfortunate predicament.

In my opinion, perhaps you should focus on the turtle you have, and if she/he unfortunately passes, keep just the one remaining turtle that you'd then have. Because 2 turtles can mean 2 set ups (at the very least one very big set up) which can get very expensive very quickly. Turtles don't need companions and if you feel like you may not be in a situation to accomodate two turtles, there's no need to replace your dying or ill turtle when he'll lead to space and monetary complications as he grows. At the very least you'd need two set ups for the 90 day quarantine period.

turtlesale [not reputable] is not reccomended by the Better Business Bureau. I've heard reports of harmful treatment of their turtles. Please take your turtle to a herp vet immediately, by the time you "get the money" it may be too late.
