General Care Discussion :: Brand new turtle owner needs all the information

I can get. I just bought 2 cute little baby sliders and I need info on how to set up a home for them as inexpensively as possible. Right now they are in one of those dumb plastic containers with the plastic palm tree. I have a 10 gallon aquarium I would like to use. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I will be taking them to school on Tuesday and would love to know what I need to bring to set up for them. Thanks so much

Here's my idea of an ideal 10 gallon tank, at least so you can get a general idea of brands since there's so many of them.

All-Glass 10 gallon tank
stealth heater 75 watt
Rena Filstar XP1 or 2....Aquaclears are cheaper
UVB bulb
40 watt household bulb
turtle dock if you're not handy, if you are then build one yourself.
