Did you do a complete cleaning after the other turtle died? Were these 2 separated? If not, I'd clean out the tank completly to make sure this one doesn't get sick also.

Sorry to hear about your turtle :(

the first one died 2 months ago. This one had been abnormal for at least 3 months. He (or she? I don't know) basically was starved to death. The vet said all tests came out normal, no infections, but he couldn't pick up food in water, he kept pecking but kept missing the target. the vet said something wrong with his nervous system, could be genetic defect. I tried to feed him, but he froze himself inside the shell, I found no way to make him eat. For 4 month since I got him he hadn't grown a bit while Curly has grown into 2.5 inches, ..... poor guy.
No I didnt have time to clean, since its not contegeous, I am going to change water this weekend.
BTW, Curly ate close 50 feeder fish in 10 days, amazing. I just bought 2 dollars feeder fish from Pet Market, but hte guy gave me about 60, then around 10 died, in 10 ten days they were all gone from Curly's tank.......

sorry about your loss. curly is fine, he doesn't need anyone but you. you should prolly keep it that way.
From the homegrowers soul, straight to his lungs. That's the method that I myself find fun. Start from seed and then you'll see, just how fun homegrowing can be.
