Today after coming home I checked in on my RES and I noticed he left alittle food floating around in the tank. I feed him the same amount everyday, he eats everything. I just want to know if this is okay.

It should be fine. Sometimes Myrtle doesn't eat all her food but sometimes she wants more... I feed her about the same time everyday to get her into habit but i dont think you should worry.

Hope that helps

If he's healthy, I think it's ok not to eat absolutely everything every day. If you're feeding the same food frequently/everyday perhaps he's getting a little tired of it and needs a little more variety. If he's constantly leaving food (especially pellets) uneaten, you could try feeding him a little less.

If it's pellets, I'd scoop it out leftovers and try to add more variety.
