I'm not too concerned about the turtles right now, because they're doing great, but i haven't noticed any fecal matter lately...think it's just them eating it? I haven't really been paying attention much for it though:-p
Depending on their diet their poop may just not be holding together either. If they eat a lot of veggies their stool can be looser. If that's the case, any solid matter would probably float around and get sucked up by the filter.
