i feed him early in the morning then around 8 at night, so i think hes a little P'Oed all day. My fiance wasnt sure but she thinks he was humping his landing. I think hes still too young for that but I could be wrong (9 months old)

How big is he? if hi shell length is about 4 in. (not including the rise) he just might be humping it. Also, how much are you feeding him? i only feed mine once a day and add some snacks at the end of the day.

Sounds like he/she is begging for food. If you haven't already, you can start offering some veggies in addition to the pellets.

If you're satisfied he's had enough to eat but you feel bad looking at him begging, you could put up a screen at the end/side of the tank so you don't have to look at each other. Perhaps he's spend more of his time on other pursuits, like basking.
