He's never done it before. This started happening after I put him into a stock tank. :?

At least it's not harmful... but all the loose bits are fouling the water pretty quickly.

I have a few smaller flat rocks that hold a bigger flat rock which makes a small space for my fish to hide (red feeder fish), and I have about 12 of them they are hard to keep a count of. I have a sand bottom, although it is not cheap @12.99 a bag and one bag is never enough, when i had a 10g tank it gave me about 1/2 to 1in floor covering, safe for the turtle to eat (round grains) The fish keep the tank clean for me and i just clean the filter. Works great, and looks great.
