Habitat - Indoor :: Plant Question

I hope there wasn't a thread already like this, if so I apologize and I hope I got this in the correct forum, I'm somewhat of a noob still.

Anyways, I was wondering if there were any live plants you could include in your turtle's tank that they wouldn't eat. I've tried a few things, however they must be pretty tasty because they never last long. I read somewhere to try sword plant because it was bitter. Sajko (one of my turtles) tried to eat it once, and then she spit it out because it was gross. Then she tried it again.... and again... and again.. until there was no sword plant left. So that idea epically failed. If you have any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate them, thanks.

Unfortunately, pretty much any plant will likely get eaten.
Sometimes you get lucky, and your turtle will leave it alone, but I think most RES love just about any aquatic plant to crunch on.

If you want to keep live plants in your tank, you can try growing something like anacharis, which I hear is easy to grow. That way, you can keep replenishing the supply in the turtle tank.

Another option, which requires you to be bit crafty, but looks awsome, is to create a plant cage in the tank. Separate off an area that the turtles can't get to and grow plants in there. Keep in mind, this will take up some swimming room, so you'll want to have a sufficiently roomy tank to start with.
