Habitat - Indoor :: is this to much water for a baby turtle???

he seems to be struggling to get to the top to poke his nose out of the water could it be because there is to much water

there truly is no such thing as "too much" water for an aquatic turtles.

BUT the younger ones will struggle and can drown if there are no resting spots to prop their body's on for rest.

seeing as you have plenty of spots for your turtle to rest, that is not too much water

your baby turtle looks like hes about 2.5 inches? maybe more? thats pretty decent.

what size is your tank?

is the light no fixed on the basking area the UVB fixture? if so, is there any possible where you can fix it so that it is also pointing towards the basking platform?

the one that is not over the basking area is a day blue light bulb, the one above the basking area is a tropical 25 fluorescent coil bulb

im not sure y the blue light looks white and the fluorescent looks blue

does the 25 watt fluorescent also distribute heat?
