hey can i get sand from wal mart or home depot, if so what is it called, what section and how much will it cost me

you can get sand from both. you need to get fine grained play sand (works the best) a 50lb bag is usually 5 bucks.


i bought crayola colored playsand from walmart and used two bags of blue for my 50g tank and i couldnt be happier

I got the fine play sand at Wal-Mart - a 25lb bag for just under $3.00. I love it. It didn't take long to wash clean either.
