I'm talking about the 125g's or more.

I recently found a 225g on craigslist for $300, and pounced on it, only to back out later as I eventually realized how difficult it would be to move across town and into my room.

I was wonder how you guys manage it...

Personally, when it's time for me to get a tank that large, I'm hiring professionals to move it.
I don't have the strength nor do any of my friends to move a few hundred pounds in glass alone. It's not worth breaking the tank or breaking my back.

We had our tank delivered to our apartment, then when we moved into our house, we hired movers.

You could rent a u-haul truck for the day and get a bunch of guys to help you.

I would have got it anyways and worried how to get it home! :lol: Also surely you know a friend who has a truck or a trailer you could borrow?!

It takes 4 strong people to move my 140g...which i have to do this weekend since i'm moving...fun, fun.

I can move my 53 gallon by myself, almost dropping is 4-5 times on the way outside though!

with the 120g my boyfriend and his dad moved it...I was white with fear encase they dropped it though...I think when we move out in February we'll have to get 4 of our guy friends to move it...or movers.....

That's if I see another deal like that. The one was sold about a week ago. Bah.
