i'm a little hesitant with using corkbark because my turtle has a habit of biting things & i don't want her biting off chunks off the wood. And usually you have to cut the corkbark to shape & i don't have the materials to cut it with.

My turtle will occasionally nibble pieces off. As long as your turtle is not intent on eating the whole thing (as I know my other turtle would) it'll be fine.

haha, i know she won't eat the whole thing, but i just don't want her biting off pieces from the corkbark & i heard that the bark slowly turns the water yellow. i think i'll go with making my turtle ramp for now & then (when i have saved enough $), buying the large turtle ramp (the acrylic kind). thank you for the advice
